Our photographer got our pictures up on his website. I am pretty sure you can order them straight from his website if you want to get copies of any pictures. To get to the gallery go to Taylor Swedburg Photography click on the link that says View Galleries on the right, then click on the Walsh/Kelln Wedding. The password for the gallery is Caitlin. I hope you enjoy them. We are extremely pleased with his work.

As some of you know Taylor is trying to get into the wedding photography business, he has been working a lot with Michele Waite who is an amazing photographer. We both had a lot of fun with Taylor and have definitely developed a friendship with him. If you would like any more information about Taylor please visit his website or contact us.

Honeymoon!!

We just wanted to let you all know that we made it safely to Cancun. It is beautiful, sunny, and very warm outside but we are loving it. We realized once we got here that we don't have a camera! So we won't have any pictures :-(

Thank you all again for coming to our wedding, we had a wonderful time! See you in a week!

So we have pretty much finished our registry. The links to the various registries are listed below. If, as you look through our registries, see something you think we may have missed, please feel free to make recommendations. Neither of us have really done this before, so we tried to make sure we covered all our bases, but neither of us can shake the feeling that we are forgetting something.

As far as the registry experience went, Chris really enjoyed registering (a lot!) while Caitlin found it stressful at times but was still able to have fun with it. We found that we had to take it in small chunks and just focus on one area at a time to not get overwhelmed. All in all it was a great experience and helped us to continue to learn more about each other. We are excited to be mostly finished and hope you enjoy buying the gifts we registered for as much as we enjoyed registering for them. =)

Reception Menu

Since we are having a later ceremony/reception we have decided to not do a full dinner. Instead we are going to have Andi of Pure Bliss Desserts prepare a fabulous dessert bar. This means it would be a good idea to either eat prior to coming to the wedding, or grab a quick bite between the ceremony and reception. We will post a list of local restaurants that we recommend when we get a little closer to the wedding.

To peak your interest and get you excited for the fantastic desserts we have in store for you we are posting our tentative dessert bar options. In addition to the following menu we are going to have some cakes, but we don't know what the flovors or anything are for those. So that will have to be a surprise.

Tentative Dessert Bar:
- Truffles -
Smooth and dense dark chocolate truffles, coated with your choice of toasted almonds or cocoa powder.
- Nanaimo Bars -
A sweet layered treat made with ground coconut, graham cracker, nuts, and chocolate.
- Coconut Macaroons -
Sweetened coconut mounds, slightly toasted and baked to perfection.
- Cranberry Bliss Bars -
A light buttery crust, topped with sweet pecans and dried cranberries.
- Chocolate Chunk Cookies -
Soft and chewy, fully loaded with chocolate chips.
- Berry Cream Tartlets -
Fresh fruit covering a creamy vanilla filling in a rich tart pastry shell.
- Hawaiian Macadamia Nut Cookies -
Chewy cookie base, packed with macadamia nuts and white chocolate.
-Chocolate Almond-Coconut Cake Bites-
Light chocolate and almond cake, topped with a chewy layer of coconut and
coated with a smooth chocolate ganache.

RSVP & Wedding Details

We know we haven't sent out invitations yet, but we have the RSVP form up and working at the bottom of the page. If you know you are going to make it, feel free to RSVP now. If you do it again when you get your invitation that is fine. I will be keeping track of all RSVPs, so it is okay if we get two from you... or three... or four... it's okay to be forgetful :-)

Vendor Details

The Ceremony is going to be at our church, Birchwood Presbyterian Church in Bellingham. The church is undergoing some renovations, including the removal and replacement of all the outside walls. The projected finish date is late October, which means that the sanctuary will have tarps, scaffolding, and various construction site elements all over the outside. We're not too worried though because we want a short ceremony and the reception site, Broadway Hall, is beautiful.

Our good friend, and Chris' best man, Steve Moore of Steven Moore Designs is doing so much to help us out. He is our florist, he is making Caitlin's dress, he is helping us with every aspect of planning, and he is going to make our wedding cakes. Basically, in addition to being an amazing friend, Steve is a godsend to us as we plan our wedding.

Andi Vann of Pure Bliss Desserts is putting together our dessert buffet for us and we are extremely excited about this. Andi made many of the desserts for our engagement party and they were all delicious.

Taylor Swedburg is going to be our photographer. This is his first summer as a wedding photographer but he took our engagement pictures and they turned out wonderfully. Taylor and his wife Mindy are both awesome and we are excited to be working with them again.

Brittany O'Brien from Dolce Designs is going to be making our invitations for us. She also made the engagement party invitations, which were beautiful, of course. We should be meeting with her sometime in the near future to get that aspect planned out and ready.

Welcome to our wedding countdown/update blog. People are always asking us how wedding plans are going... so we decided to make a blog to keep you all up to date. Posts might not be too frequent, as the priority is to actually plan the wedding. However, we will definitely try to keep you all updated. Thanks for visiting.
